Noëlie Svara

Noëlie Svara is an advisor in the digitalization team at the Initiative for Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chains (INA) within GIZ. With a focus on DIASCA and INATrace, she works on the intersection between smallholder empowerment, traceability and sustainable supply chains.

Before joining GIZ, Noëlie was a project manager for a consultancy firm for 5 years and was responsible for agricultural projects in francophone Africa. In the past 8 years, the thematic focus of her work revolved around value chain analyses and development, the valorization of agricultural by-products or the strengthening of farmer organizations.

Noëlie holds a M.Sc. in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University, where her studies concentrated on international development and a B.A. in International Cultural and Business Studies, with a regional focus on Southeast Asia, from Passau University.
