She has served in various capacities, including roles within government, civil society organisations focusing on environment and international cooperation (such as Greenpeace, Oxfam, Rikolto, and Herwin), and most recently, in the private sector. Having resided and worked across Africa, Asia, and Central America, Karren brings a global perspective to her endeavours.
Three years ago, Karren joined the Colruyt group as an expert in sustainable sourcing, with a focus on social issues. She enjoys collaborating with a wide array of stakeholders to tackle intricate challenges. Her ultimate goal is to contribute to the creation of food systems that are more inclusive, resilient, and regenerative, thus promoting the well-being of both humanity and the planet.
