With over 14 years of experience across the palm oil value chain, Ahmad brings deep expertise in sustainable sourcing, traceability, regenerative agriculture, and responsible production. Prior to joining WWF, he spent 6 years as a Lead Auditor and RSPO Program Manager with global certification bodies such as SGS and Control Union, conducting audits and managing certification programs across multiple countries.
Ahmad also has 6 years of operational experience in oil palm plantations, where he oversaw field management and agronomy research. He is actively involved in key multi-stakeholder platforms, including the RSPO Assurance Standing Committee, Biodiversity and HCV Working Group, and various technical working groups under the Palm Oil Collaboration Group (POCG).
At WWF based in Singapore, he leads major initiatives such as the WWF Palm Oil Buyers Scorecard, Palm Trader Index, and the development of industry frameworks including the WWF Palm Oil Regenerative Agriculture Framework. His work connects practical field knowledge with global sustainability advocacy to advance more responsible and inclusive palm oil supply chains.
