With a chemical and process engineering background, paired with an Executive MBA, Carolina brings 20 years of experience in Innovation and Sustainability in several roles in the Consumer Goods and Chemical industries. In recent years, her focus has been on driving sustainability in the areas of Circularity and Bioeconomy.

Since joining Clariant’s Corporate Sustainability Affairs in 2022, Carolina has been further developing the sustainable palm oil strategy of the company, working hand in hand with the Care Chemicals and Additives Business Units as well as with Procurement in implementing sustainable palm sourcing practices. Working with multistakeholder industry initiatives as well as with NGOs in this field is key to enabling sustainable transformation in such a complex value chain. Clariant believes in landscape projects as an effective instrument for driving positive change in the palm oil sector.
