Malika Virah-Sawmy is a scientist, facilitator, and changemaker dedicated to collective action for a more sustainable and just world. She works on inclusive business, sustainable food, nature-based solutions, climate adaptation, and Indigenous rights, bringing people together to drive meaningful change.

She is the IUCN Co-Chair on Vegetation Oils and the founder of Sensemakers Collective, a network of facilitators and coaches committed to social transformation. Malika has worked with the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the United Nations, and certification bodies, helping organisations collaborate and create impact.
