After her studies in chemistry and agro-chemistry, Pauline completed a PhD on the environmental impact of household waste in collaboration with the French Environment Agency (ADEME). She joined the Ecocert group in 2008 to work on the certification of organic and natural cosmetics. Over more than 10 years, she developed a solid expertise in the natural and organic market. From 2019, she broadened her field of expertise to lead the Cosmetics and Home Products Business Unit. With more than 3,000 customers worldwide, she had the opportunity to address a wide range of issues related to cosmetics and detergents, responsible sourcing of raw materials, packaging, traceability, and communication on environmental labels and claims.
Throughout her career, she interacted with many stakeholders across the value chain — suppliers, manufacturers, brands, distributors, consumers, federations and associations — as well as with competent authorities and label owners. She served as a member of the AISBL COSMOS Board, a member of the ECOLABEL Steering Committee in France, and an expert within the European Commission EGTOP sub-group dedicated to Cleaning & Disinfection. At the beginning of 2024, she was appointed Head of Regulatory Watch & Public Affairs for the Ecocert Group to anticipate major regulatory impacts in the non-food sector and to build strong relationships with key industrial and institutional stakeholders.
