Veronique is Proforest Europe director of Landscapes and Company Collaboration, based in the Proforest office in Leiden, the Netherlands. She has been working for Proforest for over 10 years, including on responsible sourcing for individual clients and in company collaboration spaces to promote sectoral wide solutions and alignment like the Palm Oil Collaboration Group and the CGF Forest Positive Coalition. In the context of RSPO, she was also actively involved in the development of the RSPO smallholder strategy and later the RSPO Independent smallholder standard. Before joining Proforest she worked for WWF Gabon on their palm strategy and for EcoSecurities on Climate and the Kyoto flexible mechanisms.
