Plenary Sessions (45–60 min)

These are panel sessions for the full audience, in which we explore broader themes with speakers from industry, academia, and NGOs. Engaging discussions led by a moderator who will actively involve the audience through Q&A.

Breakout Sessions (60 min)

Smaller sessions on specific topics, diving deeper into issues raised during the plenary sessions. Designed to be highly interactive, they encourage audience participation and may take various formats (e.g., workshops, fishbowl discussions).

Best Practice Sessions (60 min)

These sessions highlight real-life examples that have led to measurable improvements in sustainability.

Expert Sessions (60 min)

Smaller, lecture-style sessions where a dedicated expert shares in-depth insights on a specific topic, followed by a Q&A.

Breakout Sessions I

Breakout Session I – Climate: Low carbon palm oil: How to decarbonise at mills and in smallholder farms?

The session will identify routes to decarbonising palm oil production, bringing together a grower, a trader, and a national federation to explore pathways, from commitments to scalable change.

Breakout Session I – Nature: Measuring the unmeasurable

A case study presentation of a downstream company quantifying the biodiversity impact in its supply chain for impact mitigation, investment and risk assessment.

Breakout Session I – People: Driving Systemic Change on Human Rights in Palm Oil Supply Chains Through Scale and Collaboration

This session will explore how supply chain companies can address salient and systemic human rights risks in the palm oil sector by achieving scale and collaborating with peers and the wider sector, exemplified by Nestle’s ongoing work in Malaysia and Indonesia

Breakout Session 1:  Zoo Discovery Walk

This guided walk will explore fascinating animal habitats, including the Orangutans. The Zoo ranger will provide insights into the zoo’s conservation work and the impact of sustainable palm oil sourcing.

Breakout Session II – Climate: Linking landscape initiatives to Greenhouse gases (GHG) reporting frameworks

This session will focus on how companies can link their efforts on deforestation-free palm production and improving smallholder Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) to their climate targets, including Scope 3 emission reductions. A case study from the Sustain Kutim landscape initiative, as well as approaches by the Insetting Platform on how to consider area-based GHG emission reductions, will be presented.

Breakout Session II – Nature: Landscape Action on Nature for Resilience: Progress and Gaps in Palm Oil

This session brings together leading companies and global frameworks to explore how the palm oil sector can scale nature‑positive action, using real‑world examples and insights from recent IDH and CDP studies to strengthen resilience in producing regions.

Breakout Session II – People: From Boycotts to Buy-In

How to transform consumer perceptions on palm oil?

Breakout Session III

Breakout Session III – Climate: Closing the Loop on Climate Responsibility

How can downstream actors quantify their climate impacts? This session looks into how climate data can be made accessible and usable for downstream actors.

Breakout Session III – Nature:  Beyond 2025 DCF commitments: transitioning to resilient palm oil supply chains

This interactive session will explore practical solutions from companies and NGOs to accelerate progress through recognising efforts to drive smallholder inclusion at the landscape level. Participants will discuss the guidance, mechanisms, and collaboration needed to drive sector transition, support credible DCF reporting, and deliver nature-positive, resilient palm production.

Breakout Session III – People: The Emerging Business Case for Smallholder Inclusion in D-free Markets

This session explores the emerging business case for including palm oil smallholders in deforestation-free markets, drawing on data and industry perspectives to show what’s needed for resilient, compliant supply in a turbulent world.
