Ari is a highly experienced social development and sustainability specialist with more than 20 years of international experience spanning Indonesia, East Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. She has a strong track record of working in social innovations and social entrepreneurship, creative economy and inclusive development.

Ari leads IDH’s program delivery in Indonesia which aims to support deforestation-free and inclusive supply chains of key commodities, including palm oil. Before joining IDH, Ari held senior roles at the British Council Indonesia and at the World Bank’s Community Development Project. In this role Ari managed the Active Citizen program across Indonesia, which provides pathways for disadvantaged communities to participate in the economy and development process.
