Katie Caudle

Katie is a Senior Supply Chains Adviser in the UK Government’s International Forest Unit (IFU), a joint team across the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. The IFU supports delivery of global efforts to halt and reverse forest loss by 2030. Katie has led work to develop the UK’s demand-side strategy to reduce its overseas deforestation footprint and has convened international platforms with major commodity trading companies and governments.

Katie sits on the Advisory Board for TRASE, a leading supply chains transparency tool. Originally from Washington, DC, she joined the UK Government in 2017 after living and working in Peru for a public health and development NGO. Katie holds an MSc in Sustainable Business (dual degree, Universities of York and Maastricht, 2024) and a BA in English and Environmental Science & Policy from the College of William and Mary (2014).
