Lesly Vera is an Environmental Engineer and sustainability executive with over 19 years of experience driving public-private partnerships for sustainable development across Latin America. Currently serving as the Sustainable Landscapes Manager for Solidaridad Peru and Advisor for the Palm Oil Programme in Honduras, she co-leads regional multi-stakeholder strategies to build robust, climate-resilient, and fully traceable supply chains. Within Solidaridad’s regional palm oil team, Lesly actively shapes the pre-competitive agenda, pioneering strategic solutions for EUDR compliance, smallholder market inclusion, and global competitiveness.

Throughout her career, she has spearheaded national and regional initiatives focused on tropical forest conservation, bio-business modeling, and social inclusion—specifically empowering smallholders, women, and youth. Previously, she held leadership roles at the Peruvian Export and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPerú) and managed prominent international cooperation programs with GIZ, Swisscontact, and the International Trade Centre (ITC).
