Tessa Meulensteen is currently Director of Global Markets at IDH, covering cotton, cocoa, coffee, and palm oil. Prior to this role, Tessa was the Global Director of Agri-Commodities and the Programme Director for the Coffee Programme at IDH.

Tessa’s work focuses on resolving underlying challenges that run across different sectors, but inhibit impact on incomes, jobs and wages, and the environment. Her work revolves around aligning with partners to explore opportunities around responsible procurement practices, value and risk distribution, security of supply, investment, and landscape approaches. Through a systems-change approach, IDH works to create sustainable change and transform markets to deliver for people, planet, and progress.
